Danny Brown’s new album will be called Atrocity Exhibition

Danny Brown

The rapper has either named his latest album after a Joy Division song or a 1970 novel by J.G. Ballard

Danny Brown has announced the title of the long-awaited follow up to his 2013 album Old. The rapper took to Twitter to announce the news that the album will be called Atrocity Exhibition.

Although Brown hasn’t explicitly said where the album’s title comes from it’s likely that it’s either a reference to a Joy Division song also called Atrocity Exhibition or the 1970 novel by J.G. Ballard from which that song takes its name. Either way, we can’t wait to hear what he’s got in store.

At the time of writing the album doesn’t have an official release date but Brown recently signed to Warp Records so it’s safe to say they will be handling the release when it does eventually drop. Check out Brown’s Tweets and his recent video for When It Rain below.
