Drake shares handwritten note to mum apologising for overspending

“Thanks for temporarily funding my music and wardrobe.”

Drake’s nice-guy bit is nothing new, it seems. The rapper posted a charming memo on his Instagram today apologising to his mum for his teenage overspending. The note, written when Drake was just 19, sees the rapper tell his mother that he’s sorry for his “eBay charges coming to more than I had planned for” and that he’s cancelled his subscription to celebrity magazine Wire Image to make up for it. He goes on to say that she will be “Reimbursed fully through several methods and/or means of payment.” We’ve all been there.

The post’s caption reads “eBay was the addiction back in 2006. Def come a long way and it’s safe to say I most likely settled this debt. 😂😂😂 #NothingWithoutMyMom #IProbablyBoughtSomeEvisuJeans.” We can’t help but hope Drizzy’s still got those Evisu’s in the archive somewhere too.
