Mandela Effect is digitally out now and will be dropped in stores on April 7
Psychedelic hip-hop artist Gonjasufi has made an album announcement today (9 March). His 2016 release Callus will be reworked in a new album, Mandela Effect, which is out digitally now. The new release features a number of collaborations, including tracks with Portishead’s Beth Gibbons, Bristol group Massive Attack‘s Daddy G, Shabazz Palaces, Afrobeat legend Tony Allen, Anna Wise – who’s previously worked with Kendrick Lamar – Brainfeeder’s Ras G and Moor Mother.
The concept behind the new body of work comes from the psychological phenomenon of misremembered events and false memories.
Mandela Effect is out now digitally via Warp Records. Check out the collaboration with Shabazz Records, titled Afrikan Spaceship, below.
