The Crack cover stars are back
Last night (8 March), the Swedish quartet announced on BBC Radio 1‘s Mistajam session that they’ll be releasing a new album, titled Season High. The producers they’ll be working with on the upcoming album include James Ford and Patrik Berger – who’s previously worked with Lana Del Rey and Charlie XCX.
The station also debuted the second song from Little Dragon‘s upcoming release, called Sweet – which follows up from the first track they revealed, named High.
Unlike the slow burner High, Sweet is a dance track. Yukimi Nagano tells Dazed, “Every phase has been important, but we’ve admittedly been affected by pop norms. For this album, we tried to not give a fuck about anything and not conform like we may have sometimes done to fit into that mould of being a commercial band but not actually being a commercial band. It gets confusing to us, and we’re very affected by it.”
Check out the new track below and revisit Crack’s cover story with Little Dragon.
Update: Little Dragon have dropped a trippy video for Sweet. Like High, the clip has been directed by collaborator Ossian Melin. Watch it below.
