Grizzly Bear announce long-awaited album Painted Ruins

It’ll be dropping on 18 August

The Brooklyn band have announced the follow-up to 2012’s Shields today (17 May). Painted Ruins will be released in August. A new song is also being aired today on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show, and they’ve shared the details of a new tour. It’s set to be their first set of live shows in four years, and it’ll see the band perform in venues around North America and Europe.

Earlier this year, the American rock outfit shared a series of psychedelic teasers before dropping a single from the forthcoming album, entitled Three Rings.
