Björk to perform in Aarhus for the first time in 25 years at NorthSide Festival

NorthSide Festival has announced Björk for their 2018 line-up, and it’ll be the Icelandic star’s first show in Aarhus in 25 years.

The festival will run for three days from 7-9 June, and Björk’s performance will take place on the first day. Other acts previously announced for the line-up are Queens of the Stone Age, Sleaford Mods, The National and Father John Misty amongst others. On 9 June, Deerhunter will take to the stage with Tyler, the Creator.

NorthSide spokesman John Fogde said in a press statement, “It’s amazing that we are now able to bring Björk back to Aarhus… She is undoubtedly in a class by herself musically and she is the rare combination of a constantly evolving artist who also has a broad appeal because of her incredible catalogue. So we are incredibly excited to see which show the inventive singer will bring to NorthSide.”

NorthSide Festival’s ninth edition will take place at Ådalen. Head to their website for more info and tickets.
