The post-rock heavyweights have been in hibernation
Texan post-rock stalwarts Explosions In The Sky have announced that they are planning to release a seventh album. The band mentioned, in a note on Facebook, that they have spent the last few months in hibernation writing and recording for their first full length since 2011’s Take Care, Take Care, Take Care.
Although no information has yet been released about the title of the album or when it will be released, the band say that 2015 will be a quiet year for them in terms of touring as they continue working on new material. They added that they are “Pretty excited about what [they’re] coming up with.” Before going on to thank fans for their continued support.
