Foo Fighters to headline Glastonbury

Foo Fighters have self-confirmed themselves as headliners of this year’s Glastonbury Festival. Dave Grohl and his cohorts let the bombshell slip during their acceptance speech after winning Best International Band at the NME Awards earlier tonight. The band join Lionel Richie and the Dalai Lama in an unlikely trio of acts confirmed so far. Glastonbury Festival takes place 24-18 June, read the festival’s official statement here.
