Crack to host Lords of the Manor house party as part of RBMA UK tour

Red Bull Music Academy have announced their UK tour. Taking place across four cities, RBMA are presenting a month-long series of club nights, shows, lectures, workshops, day parties and live radio broadcasts. As part of the tour, Crack will be hosting the Lords of the Manor house party on 3 April with former cover star Danny Brown, academy alumni Mumdance, rising grime talent Novelist and his crew The Square as well as DJs from hip-hop orientated club night Livin’ Proof. They will be performing in a 17th century manor house on Kings Weston Estate on the outskirts of Bristol. The RBMA tour kicks off in Glasgow on 26 – 29 March, where local heroes Optimo present a very intimate Optimo Pequeno Espacio at The Panther Milk Bar, city institution Lucky Me host Mykki Blanco, Naked and Eclair Fifi, while Koreless, Pional, Mo Kolours, Romare and more perform at the Art School. RBMA’s ‘Conversation With’ hosts Danny Brown, before he performs at Astral Black alongside Mumdance, Jon Phonics, DJ Milktray and special guests. Other club nights host the likes of Derrick May, Paranoid London and Prins Thomas.

Meanwhile in Bristol, Seth Troxler will be in conversation at The Canteen before doing an all-nighter at The Love Inn while Lonnie Liston Smith and Gilles Peterson will DJ at the Bristol Planetarium. Local staples Krust, Applebim, Felix Dickinson, Chris Farrell, Troy Gunner, Hodge and Shanti Celeste will present RBMA Radio live from the Idle Hands record store, Goat will throw a masked ball and Just Jack host DJ Koze and ItaloJohnson.

London highlights include A Conversation With A$AP Rocky, a production workshop from Julio Bashmore, Tropical Roller Disco with JME, Skepta, C4, Flowdan, Preditah, Plastician, Slimzee and Logan Sama as well as ‘The Future Sound of Hip-Hop’ with Pusha T, Jay Prince, Semtex and Little Simz. This month’s cover star Skepta is in conversation at Manchester’s the Studio Gorilla and later he performs at Tropical at The Ritz with JME, Preditah, C4, Plastician, Logan Sama, Flowdan, Slimzee and Todd Edwards. Manchester’s extensive series of club nights also hosts the likes of Omar STodd Terry, Zed Bias, Mount Kimbie, Derrick May, Surgeon and Happa across the Soup Kitchen, Sankeys, The Ritz and Antwerp Mansion.
