Bristol’s Mayfest announce full programme

Mayfest have just announced their full programme. The annual festival of theatre which takes place in Bristol each year is set to include multiple perforances across the city’s many venues. Amongst the new events anounced are Dead Centre’s Lippy, Chris Thorpe’s Confirmation, Dickie Beau’s Blackouts: Twilight of the Gods, Uninvited Guests’ This Last Tempest, circumstance’s A Folded Path and Tim Crouch and Andy Smith’s what happens to the hope at the end of the evening.

The festival’s directors have noted that this year’s festival will face big matters head on; “In a general election year, when political, social and cultural issues are the forefront of our minds, this year’s programme both encourages audiences to tackle some big issues and to shake it all off with dancing, food and talk of love. We’re delighted to be welcoming so much brilliant theatre from familiar and new faces to the city.”

Tickets and more information about Mayfest (which takes places throughout the month of May) are available at their website.
