Liverpool International Music Festival returns

The city’s multi-venue festival will return for a third year

Liverpool International Music Festival takes place around the city between 27 – 31 August 2015. LIMF explores topics in music based on the theme ‘Music Migrations’ through four specially produced commissions including Routes Jukebox led by Grammy winning producer Steve Levine and BBC Radio 2’s Janice Long with Liverpool based documentarian Mark McNulty.

Other acts to play at the festival’s various stages include Echo and The Bunnymen who will be joined by the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, dance innovators Basement Jaxx and Mos Def will also play live. DJ sets from Greg Wilson, Les Spaine and No Fakin’ have also been announced.
