The National have dropped a surprise single entitled Sunshine on my Back, and have even uploaded the thing to YouTube, in case you don’t feel like shelling out on iTunes.
The new offering features vocals from Brooklynite singer-songwriter Sharon van Etten, and is available as a free download with every purchase of Mistaken for Strangers, the well-received biopic that has frontman Matt Berniger’s metal-head brother follow the band around Europe on their biggest tour to date.
