Ricardo Villalobos and Max Loderbauer reveal new album, Safe In Harbour

The esteemed production duo team up as Vilod for new LP.

Ricardo Villalobos and Max Loderbauer are set to release a collaborative album on Perlon. Releasing under the Vilod moniker, the seven-track album will be spread across two 12-inches. Titled Safe In Harbour, it follows 2013’s Turbo Sematic EP, and is the most extensive release from the duo since 2011’s Re: ECM compilation. Not much is yet known about the LP, though according to the distributor it features “sensual syncopation and eruptive bass energy.”

Safe In Harbour is out on June 15 via Perlon. Earlier this year we sat down with Villalobos at his Berlin home to talk production, promotion and Burning Man. Read that here.
