Matt Mondanile is back with another shot of melancholy.
Ducktails latest video is a bit of an ironic affair. There’s less Headbanging In The Mirror and more looking a bit tired in a car. The clip sees the Real Estate guitarist cruising through miles of open roads, playing his guitar on a rooftop and looking reflective near some palm trees. The whole thing is set to a soundtrack of lush, dreamstate guitar-pop.
Couldn’t be more Mondanile if it tried.
