The event returns to Kraftwerk this August with a host of exclusive shows.
Berlin Atonal returns this August with its programme of world premiere performances, specially commissioned projects and audio visual shows inside the epic Kraftwerk venue. The first wave of artists has just been announced, with highlights of the line-up so far including the live performance of seminal LP Outside the Dream Syndicate, the legendary collaboration between avant-garde icon Tony Conrad and German krautrock band Faust. Raster-Noton artist Kangding Ray and Mogwai’s Barry Burns will also team up to present SUMS, a soundscape that blends elements of both their musical legacies. Nine Inch Nails’ Alessandro Cortini will be unveiling his live audio-visual project, Sonno, while Regis and Ancient Methods’ Ugandan Methods project will also be performed live. New York techno artist Mike Parker will debut a live A/V show, while David Borden brings the world’s first purely synthesised ensemble Mother Mallard Ensemble to Kraftwerk.
Atonal takes place at Kraftwerk, Berlin on 19 – 23 August. For tickets and more information head to their official website.
