Ableton have announced their first ever three-day “summit for music makers”. The event will take place in Berlin’s Radialsystem V later this year from 30 October – 1 Novemeber and will include talks and workshops with music producers from around the world.

They will be operating a lottery system for tickets, which will cost €250 for the entire weekend or €100 if you happen to be aged between 18 and 20, and will be aimed at music makers with a filtering system under which Ableton will be selecting participants based on whether or not they are actively making music.

So far Holly Herndon, Robert Henke, Matthew Herbert, James Holden and Henrik Schwarz have all been confirmed to take part in the summit.

There will also be an evening program which has been “designed to reflect the themes and spirit of the daytime program” and is curated by CTM Festival. No details of the line-up have been announced at this stage.
