PJ Harvey set to debut new material at London Literature Festival

PJ Harvey will perform new songs and poetry at the festival which takes place at Southbank Centre

This year saw PJ Harvey record her ninth studio album in public as part of an exhibition at Somerset House.

Her performance at the London Literature festival will apparently include the first readings of poetry from her new book The Hollow Of The Hand, and a selection of “new songs” which she will perform alongside John Parish and James Johnston.

The new book is a collection of words by Harvey and photographs by her long-time collaborator Seamus Murphy which will document Harvey’s travels around the world. The Hollow Of The Hand is expected to be released by Bloomsbury this October.

Polly Harvey will take to the stage at the London Literature Festival on 9 + 10 October. More information and tickets can be found on their website.
