Destroyer has unveiled a new video for the tragic song, Girl in a Sling.
A brooding Bejar is at work in a photographic darkroom in the video, which is spliced with shots of decaying buildings and a mysterious red filter layered over a kind-faced lady. “I know it sucks what you’re going through, I’m going there too” he sings in that velvet-voiced way of his. Sigh.
Oh God, stop, you’re going to make us cry. Look, just give it a watch if you want to remember what emotion is.
