ClickHole crowdfunded a new bed for Bob Dylan

The satirical website have funded and delivered a brand new bed to Bob Dylan

First things first – if you haven’t followed Clickhole on your socials yet do it. It’s the Buzzfeed parody from the people behind The Onion and it’s really, really funny. In a recent article entitled Let’s Do This, Internet: We’re Launching A GoFundMe Campaign To Buy Bob Dylan A Brand-New Sleep Number Adjustable Bed! they crowdfunded a brand new bad for folk rock superhero Bob Dylan. The adjustable bed apparently includes a personalised remote control and a “sturdy modular base” whatever that means.

The GoFundMe page explains more about the bed:

“For over 50 years, Bob Dylan has been one of the most celebrated figures in American music. His songs have redefined genres and given voice to generations, and he has continued to crank out tune after awesome tune well into his winter years. He has given us everything while asking nothing in return, and for that, we think it’s about time that America said “thank you” for all his contributions to our ears and our hearts.

Hence, we have started this GoFundMe page with the goal of purchasing Bob a brand-new Sleep Number® adjustable bed. This includes a classic c2 Sleep Number® mattress, a sturdy modular base, and an intuitive wireless remote for adjusting the bed’s firmness. With taxes and shipping, the bed will cost $1,359.97. It is expensive, but we believe that this is the least we can do to thank “The Man In The Hat” for his service to the American people.”

Almost unbelievably they have acheived their goal and actually exceeded it by nearly $200 spending the excess on Bob Dylan themed bed covers. Of course Bob Dylan themed bed covers is a thing.

The whole package will be delivered to Columbia Records’ headquarters. Check out some pictures of the bedsheets and the personalised remote below. We can’t wait to hear what bob has to say.

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));

Guys: It’s happening.Bob’s bed officially shipped over the weekend, and as you can see from the picture of the Sleep...
