Godflesh and Jesu’s Justin Broadrick serves up terrifying dub as JK Flesh
Known mainly for his contributions to extreme and experimental metal as a member of Napalm Death, Godflesh and Jesu Justin Broadrick is a towering figure in music. He first used his JK Flesh moniker whilst working with The Bug’s Kevin Martin on a project called Techno Animal. He has used the alias ever since to explore the heavier, darker side of electronic music in various different forms.
His latest EP, ironically titled Nothing Is Free, is available to download for free from Bandcamp now and it’s a relentless industrial nightmare that proves, if nothing else, that Broadrick is a master of all things unholy.
