Ibiza clubs to close at 6:30 AM next summer

Ibiza’s Council Of Mayors agreed the changes yesterday

It has been announced that next summer’s Ibiza parties will be a lot shorter than previous years. Clubs have been told that they will now have to close at 6:30 AM due to a change in law agreed by Ibiza’s president of council Vincent Torres. Mixmag report that clubs will have to close at 6:30 and empty the premises within half an hour or face “penalties that are commensurate with the offence committed.”

Beach clubs will face even stricter measures, they will close at 3 AM and must stop playing music by midnight while all bars will have to kick out by 5AM.

The measures are already in place in San Antonio but will be enforced for the first time in Ibiza town next summer effectively putting an end to the white isle’s infamous sunrise parties.
