Stream Charli XCX’s documentary on feminism

Charli XCX recorded The F-Word and Me to explore what feminism means in 2015

A new documentary made for BBC Three follows Charli XCX on a recent tour as she discusses being a woman in the music industry. In The F-Word and Me the British pop star tackles awkward, gendered questions from journalists (including enquiries into where her bra has gone at Glastonbury) and speaks to other musicians including Hannah Diamond, Ibeyi, Charlotte Church, Marina Diamandis and Ryn Weaver about their views on feminism in the music industry.

Charli identifies the knife edge women must walk in terms of revealing vs. non-revealing clothing, how being in music is like being outsiders in an boy’s club, and how the Spice Girls introduced her to feminism.
