Max Richter – Path 5 (Clark Remix)

“This is my personal lullaby for a frenetic world – a manifesto for a slower pace of existence,” says Max Richter of Sleep, his critically acclaimed 2015 album.

The LP, composed in conjunction with a neuroscientist David Eagleman, was intended to be listened to in a state of sleep, with audiences even treated to special performances complete with beds.

Now, a handful of artists including Mogwai, Jürgen Müller and Clark have provided remixes bringing Richter’s decidedly ambient frameworks to life with bold new interpretations.

As a first taste of SLEEP remixes we’re proud to premiere Clark’s ominous, heavy take on Path 5.
