Pioneer DJ reveal new CDJ and mixer

Introducing Pioneer’s CDJ-2000NSX2 and DJM-900NSX2

Pioneer DJ have unveiled the latest additions to their Nexus line. First up is the CDJ-2000NSX2 which sports a 96 kHz/24-bit soundcard and 32-bit D/A converter. The touchscreen now features a QWERTY keyboard for file searching and there’s an expanded Hot Cue system with two banks of four custom cue points. They have also improved support for FLAC and ALAC file formats and added fraction divisible beat quantisation.

The DJM-900NSX2 is a mixer that matches the CDJs’ sonic improvements with the 96 kHz/24-bit soundcard and 64-bit mixing processor providing increased fidelity. Six colour and 14 new beat effects have been added along with improved EQ, fader curves and level metering. There are also two USB inputs, four phono inputs and DVS support, while boosted support for the Pro DJ Link system means four players can like up to to a single source.
