PJ Harvey has announced her new album

The Hope Six Demolition Project will be released on 15 April

A release date for PJ Harvey’s long awaited follow-up to Let England Shake has been set. The album, entitled The Hope Six Demolition Project, was recorded in public last year as part of an exhibition at London’s Somerset House.

Harvey wrote the songs whilst travelling in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Washington D.C with filmmaker Seamus Murphy for a multimedia project which saw the pair debut 10 new songs in London last year.

The first single from the album, The Wheel, premiered earlier today on Steve Lamacq’s BBC 6music show. Check out the rest of the tracklist and view a trailer for the album below.
