Rewire announce James Holden and Dean Blunt for 2016

The Hague-based festival for contemporary music has confirmed two more cutting edge artists

Rewire returns, bringing a brand new round of some of the world’s most interesting acts to The Hague from 1-3 April.

James Holden will be collaborating with Maalem Houssam Guinia, a Moroccan artist he forged links with thanks to a Marrakesh-based residency. They’ll be presenting an exciting combination of traditional and futuristic music, and enigmatic Dean Blunt reappears as Babyfather, an ongoing project that pairs his lo-fi hip-hop with spoken word influences.

Other exciting new acts announced include footwork invigorator Jlin, Bristol’s Vessel, and futuristic ambient from Roly Porter. They will join the likes of Battles, Xiu Xiu playing the music of Twin Peaks, and Animal Collective.
