East London’s Lovebox have announced more names for their 2016 weekender
Having already announced two headliners in the form of recently reunited dance-punks LCD Soundsystem and production supergroup Major Lazer, Lovebox Weekender have just revealed a host of new names and stage announcements.
Fellow East London institution fabric will host a stage at the festival as a world exclusive debut. A spokesperson from the club has elaborated on the collaboration, “As an East London venue ourselves we’re especially delighted to be hosting a stage at this year’s Lovebox and to be bringing a whole lot of what we do and the artists we love to the festival,” They said, “It’s taken a lot of work from both Lovebox and fabric to make this exclusive concept happen and it’ll be our first time ever bringing fabric to the field.”
Aside from the inclusion of fabric’s festival debut Lovebox have also announced the addition of Run The Jewels as main support for Saturday’s line-up, while Jungle will be opening for Major Lazer on Friday.
Elsewhere on the line-up you can catch the likes of minimal master Ricardo Villalobos, fabric residents Craig Richards and Terry Francis, popstar in the making MØ and grime upstart Stormzy.
