The first cut from The Hope Six Demolition Project now has a music video
PJ Harvey’s highly anticipated new album The Hope Six Demolition Project is scheduled for release on 15 April. The first track to be shared from the record, The Wheel, now has a video directed by award-winning photo-journalist and film-maker Seamus Murphy.
The video was shot over multiple trips the pair made to Kosovo. “Polly and I wanted to initiate a project together working in places we thought interesting and relevant,” Murphy says, “We met through her seeing my photographs from Afghanistan, and I later showed her more work, including some from the war in Kosovo in the late 1990s.”
