Red Bull Culture Clash have announced the line-ups for their upcoming Bristol and Manchester editions
Red Bull Musical Academy are back for another round of their Culture Clash series. The event, which pits up to four sound systems against each other, is taking place Bristol, Manchester and London.
Today they have revealed which crews will be participating in the Bristol and Manchester editions.
On 4 March Bristol’s Passenger Shed will play host to Elijah & Skilliam’s Butterz Sound. They’ll be joined on stage by Flowdan, Footsie, P Money, Royal T and Swindle. Opposition comes in the form of the city’s own Tectonic Records who will be putting on a showcase featuring owner Pinch and an as-yet-unannounced slew of guests. Stylo G’s Warning Sound will provide DnB defiance with Chip, Diztortion, DJ Corey, Fekky, Harry Shotta, Macky Gee, Mixmasters, Phantasy, Shabba D, Skibadee, Stormin and Stylo G himself. Finally DJ Die will present Gutterfunk – a collaboration between Die and Dismantle.
Then on March 10 Manchester’s Old Granada Studios will pitch the city’s pioneering house producer A Guy Called Gerald. He’ll be up against upcoming local grime crew Levelz, Manchester dub-reggae sound system Dub Smugglers and a supergroup of MCR drum n bass and jungle DJs will come together for Made In Manchester.
