Gira’s former collaborator made the accusation on Facebook last night
Singer-songwriter Larkin Grimm has accused Swans’ Michael Gira of rape. In a Facebook post written last night, she describes how Gira, after collaborating with Grimm on her album Parplar, assaulted her while she was intoxicated and unconscious at his friends’ house.
Gira has responded with his own Facebook post calling Grimm’s accusation a “horrible slur” and “lies”. His wife, Jennifer Gira, has added to his post, saying Grimm’s “allegations of Michael raping her *did not happen.*”
