Tresor details 25th anniversary celebrations

After an estimated 5,000 club nights and 30,000 DJ sets Tresor has become one of Berlin’s most iconic clubs

To celebrate 25 years of clubbing excellence the former warehouse have lined-up a club night called The Tresor 25 Years Festival, a series of international events that aim to bring the club’s ethos to cities around world and a huge compilation that will span Tresor Records’ entire discography.

“The message from 25 years of Tresor is just as it’s always been, and as topical as ever,” Says Tresor founder Dimitri Hegemann, “Give young people space to realize their ideas. Say “Yes” to their experiments. Let it happen.”

The celebrations kick off on 12 March with a party featuring Berlin’s DJ Pete, Pacou, Sleeparchive and Vainqueur, Claudia Anderson, Zadig, Psyk, J.C. and British DJ Steve Bicknell. This will be followed by a series of worldwide celebration with events in London, Milan, Detroit, Copenhagen and more already announced. The crown jewel in the series, however, will be the Tresor 25 Years Festival which will see the club’s cavernous Kraftwerk hall open from 21 – 23 July. The line-up is under wraps at the moment but you can bet it’ll feature some heavy-hitters.

On top of the parties Tresor Records are also promising new releases from Borderland (Juan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald), Terrence Dixon, Objekt, Mike Parker, Mike Huckaby, Dasha Rush, Marcelus, Mønic, Claudia Anderson and more this year as a preview to the celebrations.
