The Glasgow duo will be performing in Salford the night after a showcase led by Bristol promoter Cacophonous Sarcophagus
The 23-27 March marks the debut of a brand new series of events held in Salford’s Islington Mill by Fat Out, an exciting new programming residency, who will be welcoming parties and talks into their newly decked out Burrow.
On the 24 March, Kink Gong, who famous for his recordings (and mash-ups) of traditional music from endangered ethnic minority sounds, will be wowing crowds at a party hosted by Bristol promoter Cacophonous Sarcophagus. Belgian-Italian duo, Lumisokea, and Venice Biennale and Tate Liverpool-exhibited artist Helmut Lemke will also be taking over the Burrow on the same eclectically-billed night.
The next night heralds the arrival of two DJs that have undeniably shaped Glasgow club culture – JD Twitch and Jonnie Wilkes, AKA Optimo. Their 6-hour set kicks off a 28-hour party that runs through to 2am Sunday, ending up with a set from veteran Rush Hour DJ Antal.
A-bound Festival takes place from 23-27 March at Islington Mill, James Street, Salford. See the full programme of events and tickets here.
