Prins Thomas announces new Full Pupp sublabel

Prins Thomas’ new label Horisontal Mambo will launch in April

Prins Thomas has announced his plans to kick off a new Full Pupp subsidiary. Horisontal Mambo is inspired by jam sessions the Norwegian DJ held in is hometown of Hamar in the early 2000s.

According to RA Thomas says the events were usually attended by “a sitting and mostly hungover drinking crowd,” and the music played included “everything from medieval lute and harp records to underwater sounds via Elton John, Grateful Dead, Basic Channel and ECM albums.”

Horisontal Mambo’s first release will feature remixes of Thomas’ Bobletekno by fellow Norwegian Bugge Wesseltoft and it’s dropping on 8 April. In the meantime you can read our recent interview with Prins Thomas here.
