WeTalkMusic’s first episode features Hundred Waters and Bonobo selecting tracks in response to unusual interview questions
WeTransfer have launched a new podcast that endeavours to avoid a formulaic interview format.
“WeTalkMusic digs into who artists are, and how that identity formed,” said Lukas Nieuwenhuijsen, WeTransfer’s Music Partnership Director. “In this series we explore tracks that inspire and define them in ways that go beyond the formulaic interview format. We want artists to show different sides of themselves by selecting songs based on questions they wouldn’t normally be asked, to avoid the interview responses they’ve been repeating for years.”
The first episode features Bonobo and Hundred Waters who, guided by Thris Tian (co-founder of Boiler Room), pick out tracks in reponse to some unfamiliar questioning. It was recorded at the FORM music and arts festival in Arcosanti, Arizona, which was founded by Hundred Waters, with WeTransfer as a partner.
