Big Narstie, Azealia Banks and Lil Kim rumoured to join Celebrity Big Brother

Possibly the best Big Brother lineup of all-time is in the works

Celebrity Big Brother has already been host to some of the most glittering celebrities around: Dane Bowers, Rylan Clark, and Frankie Cocozza are just a few of the solid gold characters that have crossed that infamous threshold.

Now another trio of musical troublemakers have been rumoured to be entering CBB for the first time. As reported by FACT, rap icon Lil Kim is a strong contender and has reportedly been offered £500,000 to join the series. The Daily Star‘s source said: “Producers are thrilled they’ve finally got her. It’s taken a lot of cash but they are confident she will be worth it.” She has previously appeared on The Apprentice and Dancing With The Stars in the States.

There are also whispers of two more musical provocateurs joining the house who we’re sure will become fast friends. US rap act Azealia Banks, who was booted off the line-up of Born and Bred this summer after she aimed a barrage of racist abuse at Zayn Malik, will possibly be moving into the house alongside grime MC Big Narstie. As part of the same tirade of abuse, Banks fired shots at the “UK rap scene”, including grime, a genre that Narstie is a huge advocate for.

We won’t be sure if our suspicions are well-founded until the opening night, expected at the end of July, but a spokesperson for Channel 5 said: “The identities of the Housemates are top secret, but we can confirm there will be egos, drama, tantrums and diva strops. They shouldn’t make themselves too much at home because despite the shiny new look of the house, all that glitters is not gold.”
