Björk unveils plans for London VR exhibition and show

The art-pop experimentalist will bring her Björk Digital show to Somerset House for the first time this autumn

Björk is to visit London with her virtual reality exhibition, Björk Digital, in September this year.

The show will run from 1 September to 23 October and will coincide with Björk’s only UK show of 2016 on 21 September at The Royal Albert Hall.

The exhibition will share “never-before-seen” work, an interactive educational space featuring apps and instruments made for the artist’s Biophilia album of 2011, and VR experiences based on tracks from Vulnicura.

There will also be a retrospective of Björk’s most iconic music videos, including work from Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry, Nick Knight and Stéphane Sednaoui.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 9am on 22 July from the Royal Albert Hall website. Check out more information on the exhibition at the Somerset House website.
