On 24 September Scottish promotors FLY welcome Booka Shade, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Mr G, Detroit Swindle and more to Ross Bandstand at the foot of Edinburgh castle
Although they may have only launched three years ago Edinburgh’s FLY have long outgrown their roots as weekly residents at the city’s Cabaret Voltaire. In that short time the house and techno party has seen success at world renowned clubs like Barcelona’s La Terrazza and Glasgow’s Sub Club and now they’ve decided to take things outside for a party in the historic centre of Edinburgh.
FLY Open Air Festival will take place in the shade of Edinburgh castle on the city’s Ross Band Stand in Princes Street Gardens. The line-up already includes sets from dutch DJ Motor City Drum Ensemble, dub house mainstay Mr G, house duo Detroit Swindle and Sub Club’s Harri & Domenic and they’ve just added one more act to round off the bill. German duo Booka Shade will be performing live, bringing their own brand of vocal house to the outdoor event.
