A new feature of WhoSampled can tell you exactly how any two artists are connected in 6 degrees or less
We’ve been wondering what links Eminem and Sunn O))) for a while and now we can’t even count the times we’ve been lost trying to segue from Cardi B to Swans in the midst of after work pub chat. Well, that won’t be a problem anymore as the good folks at WhoSampled have come up with a new algorithm that helps you track the connections between artists through remixes, samples, production credits and more.
It’s pretty tough to beat the algorithm (unless of course your music taste’s are so obscure that your favourite artists haven’t made the database) and we haven’t managed it so far. Try it out here and let us know if you manage to beat it in the comments.
