More Ibiza clubs raided in tax fraud investigation

Space and Privilege have been targeted by Spanish authorities after €2 million in cash was discovered in the walls and floors of Amnesia

Two clubs on the Spanish island of Ibiza have been raided following the discovery of €2 million cash in Ibizan venue Amnesia last week. The raids are part of an ongoing investigation by the Spanish authorities into the finances of clubs in the country.

The operation has so far seen 87 clubs raided and the homes and safety deposit boxes of suspects have been searched in connection with alleged crimes against the Spanish treasury.

Four men, including Amnesia owner Martin Ferrer, have been arrested in connection with the operation and all were granted conditional release on 7 July. More on this as information becomes available.
