Prince’s family have now confirmed a date for the late singer’s official tribute concert according to AP. The concert, which will feature tributes from an as-yet-unannounced cast of musicians, is taking place on 13 October at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Prince’s hometown of Minneapolis. News of the lineup is expected to follow shortly and tickets will go on sale next month.
Stevie Wonder, Dave Chapelle and The Roots are among some of the most recent celebrities to pay tribute to Prince and Glastonbury festival also put on a spectacular show in honour of the purple one as well as David Bowie and Lemmy.
