Snowbombing reveal 2017 dates, announce Snowbombing Canada

The Austrian festival is going global

Snowbombing have announced their return to Meyrhofen, Austria for another year of winter sports, live music and clubbing. The festival, which has now been going for 18 years, will hit the slopes from 3 – 8 April and tickets go on sale tonight (4 August) at 6PM over at their website.

Aside from this the festival have also announced details of their first ever transatlantic event which is due to take place in Canada next year. The first ever edition of the Coors Light sponsored event, Snowbombing Canada, is set to take place from 6 – 10 April 2017 at Sun Peaks Resort, British Columbia, Canada. The festival’s organisers plan to bring the Snowbombing’s unique vibe to North America.

“20 years ago when we started Snowbombing it was a very distant dream to one day do it in North America. Now, with the help of an iconic brand like Coors Light, that dream is to become a reality and we are so proud and excited to be able to launch Snowbombing, Canada in the superbly stunning Sun Peaks resort” says Gareth Cooper CEO of Broadwick Live. “Not only is this one of the best ski locations in Canada, but strangely it looks just like our Austrian home, Mayrhofen! We cannot wait to come and share our unique style of après ski and passion for music with the people of Canada.”
