The pioneering American workwear brand Carhartt have shared the latest update to their Work In Progress line
Although Carhartt have their roots firmly in US workwear it was in Europe that WIP was born. The sublabel, which has overseen collaborations between Carhartt and Vans, APC, Junya Watanabe, Neighborhood and many more, fuses traditional workwear with modern streetwear trends and their AW16 lookbook sees the WIP flag flown at full mast.
This season’s key collaborators are Pelago & Mission Workshop who have worked with Carhartt to build a range of custom bikes, as well as Isle Skateboards and artist Raphael Zarka who have designed skate decks for the collection. The entire collection has been divided into a variety of unique stories. The Carhartt WIP Fall/Winter 2016 collection is due to drop in stores this month.
