Next year Amsterdam’s Dekmantel festival will venture into the unknown for their first ever São Paulo edition
The festival will run on 4 + 5 February with daytime partying taking place at The Jockey Club Hippodrome in the western part of São Paulo before night falls and the party moves to the industrial playground of Fabriketa in the city’s Brãs district.
The festival has been curated by Dekmantel alongside local promotors Gop Tun and will include performances from Nicolas Jaar who will play his new album Sirens live, while Dekmantel staples Jeff Mills, Nina Kraviz, Ben UFO, and Joy Orbison will all play across the weekend. Homegrown Brazilian talent includes Hermeto Pascoal and Azymuth while international house spinners like Moodyman and John Talabot have also been confirmed. There’s also a wealth of up and coming talent confirmed including Palms Trax, Shanti Celeste, Tom Trago, Young Marco and Fatima Yamaha.
