Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan and more will perform a tribute to the late singer on 13 October Minneapolis’ Xcel Energy Center
More details have been announced about the upcoming Prince Tribute in Minneapolis. According to The Minneapolis Star Tribune the concert will feature headliners Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera, John Mayer, Tori Kelly, and Chaka Khan with more names still to be announced. Other performers on the bill include Anita Baker, Doug E. Fresh, Luke James, Bilal, Mint Condition, and a selection of Prince-affiliated musicians including Morris Day And The Time, Judith Hill, Liv Warfield, the New Power Generation with Morris Hayes, and some members of 3RDEYEGIRL.
The concert will take place on 13 October at Minneapolis’ Xcel Energy Center with tickets going on sale on Monday 19 September via Ticketmaster. All proceeds from the show will go to Prince’s estate.
