Technics’ iconic turntable, the SL-1200, has been given an update and is set to go on sale this month with a price tag of £2,799
Technics have announced that the latest version of their long discontinued SL-1200 will go on sale later this month. The company made the announcement at the IFA trade show in Berlin last week. The SL-1200G is the most recent update of the iconic turntable following the super limited Japan-only SL-1200 GAE which dropped earlier this year.
Many had hoped that Technics’ latest model would feature a lower price than than the GAE’s £2,799 but alas there’s been no movement. It’s not currently whether the company will produce a more affordable model at any point in the future.
