Ableton introduce new Live Set Export feature

Moving audio and MIDI from iOS apps to Live sets is now easier than ever before

Ableton have just announced a brand new feature for iOS apps called Live Set Export. The feature promises to make exporting audio and MIDI data seamless by integrating a Dropbox function that will allow users to move instruments and sounds from iOS apps to Ableton Live at the click of a button.

The new feature is currently only in use across a handful of apps but Ableton have made their own software development kit available to developers to make sure the feature is as widely available as possible. Live Set Export is currently compatible with Blocs Wave, Patterning, Triqtraq and Korg’s iKaossilator and Gadget synths for any Ableton Live users who fancy giving it a go.
