Police seize over €300,000 to further Amnesia Ibiza investigations

Spanish Police raided two deposit boxes belonging to Amnesia owner Martin Ferrer in Ibiza Town yesterday

As investigations into large scale tax fraud and money laundering in Ibizan superclubs continue Spanish Police have seized two deposit boxes belonging to Amnesia Ibiza owner Martin Ferrer. The boxes, which were found to contain €300,000 in cash, were taken by Police from a bank in Ibiza town yesterday.

The seizure follows the arrest of Ferrer and three others after €2 million in cash was found concealed in the walls and floors of the club earlier this year. The total amount confiscated from Ferrer and his associates, all of whom are currently out on bail, is now estimated to be around €2.2 million.
