Spectres – The Heights

Bristol’s Spectres enjoy halloween as much as the next noise rock band. Perhaps even more so if their new video is anything to go by.

The Heights, the latest visual offering from Bristolian noise-rockers Spectres, is a feast of terror. The song itself is an exploration of the crimes of Dean Corll an American serial killer who was never convicted of the killings of 28 boys. Needless to say it’s pretty dark and brooding stuff.

The video, directed by the band’s Joe Hatt, features an unhinged man interrogating a suitably terrifying doll in an abandoned nightclub. The stuff nightmares are made of.

If your burning to desire to know more about Corll, or if you’re just a massive Spectres fan, you can also grab their new Dark Habits 8 package which features a 10″ Record featuring The Heights and Torture Board, a 36 page zine, 25mm pin badge, screen printed patch, postcard, double sided insert and download code.
