One of the singer’s final studio recordings When I Met You premiered this morning on BBC 6 Music
The first of three tracks taken from an unreleased recording of David Bowie’s Lazarus soundtrack has been unveiled. The song, entitled When I Met You, made its debut this morning on BBC 6 Music. The track was recorded with the help of Donny McCaslin and his band, who were also responsible for much of the instrumentation on Bowie’s final album Blackstar.
The Lazarus soundtrack album, co-produced by Bowie and Tony Visconti, is due out on Friday 21 October. The 2-CD set also features cast recordings of Bowie songs including The Man Who Sold The World, Changes and Sound And Vision.
