Frank Ocean opens up in first post-Blonde interview

The singer gave his first interview in years to The New York Times to discuss his two new albums and what we can expect from him in the future

Frank Ocean has opened up about his life, career and musical output for the first time in years in a new interview with The New York Times. Among other topics Frank spoke about the impact of his two recent albums Blonde and Endless on his personal life saying, ”

Frank also went into detail on why he keeps a close eye on the figures and revealed that he might just be planning on a few more promotional events in the near future, “I know exactly what the numbers are. I need to know.” He says. “I need to know how many records I’ve sold, how many album equivalents from streaming, which territories are playing my music more than others, because it helps me in conversations about where we’re gonna be playing shows, or where I might open a retail location, like a pop-up store or something.”
